Margaret and I married in August when wonderful pink lilies were in bloom all over the Central Valley of California. They were the flowers that decorated the church for our wedding. I learned later that they are called Naked Ladies because there is no foliage... just the long the stems and blossoms shooting up out of the bare bulb. They are blooming now in San Diego. I’ve always liked saying that the church was filled with naked ladies for our wedding.

I also love naked ladies.
And those flowers are nice too.
