I got a new camera today to replace one that I lost, and I shot the first pictures with it in my study to see how it handles. It's a very small camera, Sony DSC-HX9V, that I will take everywhere in my bag. It will be useful when I'm not carrying a bigger camera with multiple lenses. I stepped outside the office and got the portrait of Margaret in black and white. Tomorrow I'll take it outside to see how it manages with landscapes. I think I'm going to like it.

Photos look great, have fun with it, looking forward to seeing your tree shots with the new camera. What did you get?

Miles, you lost your old Cam! That is sad!

Rajesh, the lost camera wasn't the big one but a little one that I carried around in a shoulder bag. I suppose I was careless. Anyway, this new one is amazing... It does what only big SLRs were once able to do... and wasn't so expensive.
