I think this must be a sparrow coming in for a landing. It doesn’t look like the house wrens that we have had nesting for a few years at our house; the coloring and feather patterns are different, and it is slightly larger. If somebody who is a birder sees the picture and knows what it is, let me know. Not long ago I was fortunate to get a photograph of a mockingbird dancing. That picture thrilled me. This one comes close. I love seeing how the wing feathers are controlled to effect a perfect landing.
