...some kind of staplea with a smell of rotting meat... the smell is the flower's way of attracting blow flies so they can do the job of pollination.  It isn't a very large flower, no more than three inches in diameter.


The opening of a new show at the Museum of Photographic Arts tonight featured a trio playing violin, drums, and guitar.  I decided to get them in  black and white to match the prints from the early years of photography in the show.  The banner Collective Restraint was designed to hang by a gallery with a collection of photographs by that name... works for me.


Two lines in a cement floor got my attention... seeming also to suggest restraint.
