S**T HAPPENS
The morning began very well
in church...
An important sermon...
full of truth and affirmation.
Then back at home a sewer problem
threatened to spoil the beginning
of a brand new year,
but obviously when shit happens
whatever follows
must surely be better...
And I was right...
an evening with friends...
Everything was better
immediately.

I am dazzled by the warmth of the colors in this picture, or maybe it is the warmth of the friendships. I see 3 couples, have a momentary wish that I were in such a beautiful, long-term relationship, then come back to the reality that is my life, with all of its gifts. I wonder who took the picture. Or did you set up the camera yourself?
