William Templeton Johnson was the architect for the San Diego Museum of Art. The headmaster's residence at Francis Parker School where we lived for a time is the house he built for his own retirement. I don’t know for sure, but I’m guessing the ornamental pear trees that are now in full bloom were planted by Kate Sessions, a contemporary of Johnson’s. The garden at his house had some of the pear trees in it.

There is nothing at all that I feel like saying about the South Carolina Primary election coming up tomorrow.
