Conflicted, I decided I couldn't ignore this portrait of Koa for my photo du jour; so I went searching for a couple of pictures to go with her.  A study in contrasts, the picture of a round cactus with a twig caught in it's thorns seemed to fit.  Then I had to search for something that fit the round cactus, and I found a picture of Kenneth Knoland's Circle.  Pictures one and two I got today.  The Knoland picture I got a long time ago.
