Budapest is a city in two parts, two cities actually: Buda and Pest.  The Danube divides the sections.  Our boat was docked by the old Chain Bridge, built in the Nineteenth Century but destroyed by the Nazis in World War II then rebuilt not long after the end of the war.  We had a busy day in both sides of the city before an evening concert by the Danube String Orchestra after dinner... a very good day.
