Amstelveen and Amsterdam on the Amstel River are testimony to Dutch ingenuity. These people know how to manage a world that has more water in it than they need.

Dael and her friend were getting ready to go to a school dance. She was getting help with makeup from everybody in the house.
Lee pulled out all the stops. She dressed herself and Margaret as Amsterdam royalty. It was especially hard to leave Susanne and her girls this time. They're growing fast, and it would be fun to hang around and watch it happen.
