Hollókő was one of my favorite stops on this trip. This Hungarian UNESCO World Heritage site is the only whole, intact village on this prestigious list. I am not Hungarian, but I feel as if I could have been. All the people I met there live in the village. They seem as if I could be related to all of them. They remind me of both my grandmothers...the way the stand, the way they look out at the world, they way they look at me.
