Nurnberg is a German city that most Americans know from a high school world history course and a famous movie, Judgment at Nuremberg.The city was the site of the Nazi war trials. There was little left of the Nurnbuerg after Allied bombing in World War II. Hitler had held some of his most elaborate rallies here before the war, and he intended it to be a showcase city after the war when he believed Germany would rule the world. Most people will remember having seen film segments of Hitler strutting to the stage above.
