ON THE SUBJECT OF TREES… Leaves of the flowering cherry trees (or are they pear trees, I forget), we had white flowers early last month… then a storm came along with cold weather, and the white flowers are gone and won’t appear until early spring.  The pear trees have dropped most, but not all of their colorful leaves.  I turned my attention to the melaleuca trees, not native to this part of the world… amazing anywhere.
