A RAINY DAY isn’t a big deal in many places where I’ve lived, but in San Diego, a day with rain all day is special.  Today is such a day.  Between our apartment building and the one to the West of us two eucalyptus trees thrive.  I’ve been drawn to the designs in the bark of the trees since we moved to our apartment twenty years ago, and I’ve photographed the bark many times.  Today in the rain, or between downpours and the gentle shower which follows, I saw a landscape different from other days; so I grabbed my camera and went out for todays pictures. Wow!  Life is good.
