The way I see it there are few places in San Diego with more potential for interesting photography than the short stretch of San Diego River from the bridges near Old Town out to the ocean. On my bike ride late today, I went out on the north side of the river, crossing the bridge at Sports Arena where I got the pictures looking east and then back again up the south side of the river for one of my favorite trees and the resident ducks.  I’m going to try to do more with black and white photography.
