Discouraged by the stream of reports coming out of Iraq (and Gaza and Israel Syria and Ukraine and......), I started a piece of BLOG writing that quickly turned toward rant that was clearly not going to lift my spirits... and I remembered something Fyodor Dostoyevsky said. "The soul is healed by being with children...," and then I remembered that my friend Ed was babysitting his granddaughter Elizabeth... so off I went to join them.
