Helen's Birthday was yesterday... but we celebrated today.  Elaine took us all out for dinner... a great time.

After my volunteer stint this afternoon at the Museum of Photographic Arts, I wandered on my bicycle past some of my favorite places and things in the Park.  French artist Niki de Saint Palle's whimsical mosaic sculptures at the Plaza de Panama with its scattering of festive umbrellas suggest celebration.  I rode through Hillcrest to Mission Hills then on down to Mission Valley on my way home.
