Photo Essay Today: I rode my bike out along the south side of the San Diego River this afternoon... enjoying the quiet and the clouds... wishing for rain that I know isn't coming for at least a couple of weeks, and maybe not even then. The African Coral Trees, native to South and East Africa, are blooming all over San Diego this week; so I headed out to take pictures of a couple of the trees that I especially like... not far from the mouth of the river where it spills out into the Pacific Ocean. They are spectacular this week... so beautiful they are almost unreal.
