I knew these photos looked too familiar. Your still in my neck of the woods, so to speak. Rock Creek Park, that you mentioned in your previous post, is 5 minute drive from my daughter. She is within walking distance of the Mall. How long are you going to be there? I wish I knew of this trip (my fault, I haven't been catching up)I would have loved for you to meet her and vise versa. You have made me nostalgic for a dose of Penn's Woods where I'm from with these wonderful photos of rural parts of Maryland. I especially liked the stream, the trees turning color & remembering the quiet of the woods; also the bright red oak tree &, in an earlier photo, the heavy clusters of elm seeds just waiting for the rain & a breeze to disperse their bounty within.
