A satisfying postlude to the trip to Greece and Turkey was a program at First United Methodist Church this evening which focused on a most recent hand-written manuscript of the Bible. My first reaction was that it is time to move on to modern technology and to avoid the problems of human error and to avoid what I had considered a use of time that might not be practical. I was wrong. The copies of manuscript pages are pure art. They are worth whatever time it took to make them.
