My picture for today is the Pudding Creek Trestle which runs across a beach at the mouth of Pudding Creek in Fort Bragg. The bridge was built in 1916 to carry mainly logs to Fort Bragg lumber mill. Highway One, the Coast Highway, was once the Old Haul Road, called Old Haul because it was the road over which lumber was brought into Fort Bragg before the railroad was built.
