Edward Albee - "Sometimes it's necessary to go a long distance out of the way in order to come back a short distance correctly."

That’s a line from Albee’s short play, The Zoo Story.  I thought of it as I was opening the door to my car half-an-hour after I had left my volunteer job at the Museum of Photographic Arts this afternoon. I took the long way from the museum to the car.  In the half hour wandering in the cactus garden on Park Boulevard, I found these images.
