CATCHING UP: I didn't have easy access to the Internet for a couple of days this week, so today's post includes photographs from Cabo San Lucas on Thursday, a couple of pictures from the ship on Friday, and photographs from San Diego today. I'll catch up on the writing later. We got back home for a couple of birthday celebrations. Jeremy is now a seventeen-year-old, and Michael turned nineteen last week... hard to believe! THE OOSTERDAM sailed into San Diego Bay this morning in a dense fog. Half-an-hour after we tied up at the Broadway Pier, the fog began to life. San Diego manages to be beautiful in all kinds of weather conditions.

Gary,
If you ever get too cold way up there in Canada, come on down to San Diego. If it's no warm enough for you here, the cruise ships run regularly to where it's toasty. It's good to hear from you.

Beautiful. I bet you had a great trip. That dining table on that ship looks nothing like the one on my tug boat.
Really love the photo of thew sailboat between the rocks.
