JUST ADD WATER... making my own universe.ONLY SEEMS

Blue skies, they say,
aren’t really blue
but black
and the ocean isn’t blue
but merely the reflection
of the sky,
and the mystery deepens...

If the sea only seems blue,
what are we to think about
heaven, Mr. Einstein? The universe,
impossibly beautiful,
a brash miracle. The dandelion,
impossibly beautiful,
a brash miracle.

From Johnson's poem about his mother. Died at only 63? How sad. Lovely and sensitive poem. We'll all hear him this coming Sunday.

And what a handsome young man is Michael and how lucky he is to have solid parents, a brother who listens to a different drummer (but talented as is Michael), and a grandpa who can offer wise instruction (whenever Mike asks, of course). Thanks so much, Jerral for giving irene and me a window into your family and friends.
