FRIDAY, MAY 8
Whenever I come across a blue jay in Northern California, particularly near Sacramento, I remember Mark Twain's short story, "Baker's Blue Jay Yarn." This sassy jay is just the sort of fellow described in the story. It's worth a read, if you've never come across it.
