Today was one of those rare days... a day to celebrate... the 70th birthday of Ed Griffiths.  Ed and Pat have spent a month in a perfect apartment in Solano Beach, California.  The Birthday cake was carrot cake, his favorite.  We had cheeseburgers for supper.  His daughter called from Singapore to wish him good health and long life.  His grandchildren wished him Happy Birthday.  Son Bill called earlier from San Francisco.  Sunset out their window was perfect.  Life is good.
