A Day Late... Journal for Saturday, October 13
The big event for Saturday evening was a fund-raising dinner for the San Diego Parkinson's Foundation... an altogether wonderful event built around the commitment of good people to support research seeking a cure for Parkinson's Disease.
We walked into the banquet hall of the Weston Hotel at Horton Plaza to fine half a dozen classic life-size marble statues from an ancient Graeco-Roman world. At first nobody noticed that they were real people. One of them seemed to be about to reach for John Lin's glass of wine.
