IT'S SUMMERTIME AND THE SUMMER IS... easy for some of us, and incredibly hard even here in sunny San Diego, for some others. Little signs have appeared all over Ocean Beach saying, "Please Don't Feed Our Bums." I am saddened by the plight of the homeless, and saddened perhaps even more by the callousness of the people who printed and posted the signs.

Those pictures do speak a thousand words. It is sad. I often wonder, "what's your story?" You know, how did you end up here?
Truely sad, and the signs, really a bad bad idea.
Great shots of the beach people. Always easy for others to judge them. I dont walk in their shoes, dont know their story. They too have moms and dads. Michiel
