The silk floss tree, originally from Brazil and Argentina,
thinks its back home in its native land where it's spring.


The exquisite flower stays fully open only a short time
then slowly transforms itself into a big green seed pod
which eventually bursts into a silk ball of seeds that can 
be scattered by the wind.
