Yesterday's photo for the day was of Hajime,a favorite student from the time when I taught English at Gomper's Secondary School in San Diego after I had retired from the rarified world of independent schools.  Today I had the good fortune to have lunch with another favorite student from a much earlier time.  David was a star in my junior and senior English classes forty-four years ago when I was a young teacher at Yuba City High School.  His son Dave joined us.  Life Is Good.
