On my ride along the south side of the river on my way out to the ocean, I came upon five snowy egrets that I thought might make the cut for my photo du jour, but later over on Shelter Island I met up with three pelicans who seemed to like my company well enough to let me photograph them up close. I think you’ll like them as much as I do.
