Today was uneventful in exactly the best possible sense. Jeremy is learning to drive, and I rode along with him for two hours in which time he did everything right. It was only his second time on the road. The first time he was with a driving instructor. After the first few tentative, cautious minutes, he because completely at ease with an old grandpa instead of a proper driving instructor. He drove me to the seaside south of Del Mar where I got my photograph for the day.

Besides the seaside picture, I got the one below in the backyard... the flower is the blossom on some kind of pea vine... the same as yesterday's photograph.
