My intention a little while ago was to make a poem about cherries

because I had cherries, 

but nothing came of it...

FISHING

Fishing for a poem is tricky business,

not unlike trying to catch trout.

The bait is important

but isn’t everything.

Find the right place,

drop in the line

and wait.
