The hillsides around San Diego and the surrounding communities are showing off a beautiful wild flower this year.  The Lupin is one of the most striking natural flower to have benefitted from the unusually heavy rainfall season in our area.  I first saw Lupin growing in the area around the little town of Live Oak, California, that first spring after my family moved from Arkansas to California.
It is not hard to find natural beauty in any area. Keep looking.
