Back Home in San Diego
thinking about what I especially like about California:

...waves of tawny grasses rolling silently across golden hills;

...the way cottonwood leaves tremble in the slightest breeze;

...poplar trees bending reverently in an afternoon wind;

...sheep grazing in a vast field;

...a lake alive shivering.
