The Christmas Cactus is a gift of Elaine Gasser Lanoiselee... It is doing well in Paradise Village.  The botanical name of the Christmas Cactus is Schlumbergera.  According to Wikipedia it is a small genus of cacti with six species found in the coastal mountains of south-eastern Brazil. This one is found on the balcony of our apartment in National City.
