I had a birthday last month and my Good Wife bought a horse for me.  It is a Chinese horse.  One very much like the one we bought in China many years ago.  It's a horse that the people on Antiques Road Show would not be interested in at all, but I like it.  It is very Chinese.  I'm glad to have a place for it on my book shelf.  Nearby is another treasure, a crystal duck.  I don't remember where or when we got the duck, but it sits proudly on the shelf with the horse.  We are fortunate to be surrounded by beauty.
