JIM’S SHOES… I’ve always been fascinated by shoes, other people’s shoes.  My neighbor, Jim Fudge, has completed a memoir which will be posted online for anybody to read… anybody who wants to know first hand about Jim’s life, especially his involvement in the Normandy Invasion.  I’ll post the on-line address of the memoir when I’ve got Jim’s permission to list it in this space.  At age 90, Jim has put lots of miles on several pairs of shoes.

…Then In the Evening… The San Diego Symphony played Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3, Jean Sibelius Violin Concerto in D minor with Karen Gomyo, violin soloist, and Igor Stravinsky’s Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rite of Spring).  Guest Conductor was  Mirga Gazinyte-Tyla...  Wow!
