Margaret and I joined half a dozen other Americans who were invited to the Armani family home in Vernon, not far from Giverny with Monet’s amazing gardens, a place I have long wanted to visit.  Wow!  Travel doesn’t get much better than this.  Heading north again on the River Seine just before supper, I kept going back again and again to the window of our river ship’s dining room to grab another what would be one more picture for the day.  I haven’t decided yet which will be the photo du jour.
