Basically, it’s about painting a picture of the day… with a little camera no bigger than the palm of my hand… no problem hauling it around on my bike.  Today I rode a usual route across Mission Valley… up Backmann Street past UCSD Hospital… through Hillcrest on Fourth Avenue… across to Balboa Park to Marsden House then all the way down to see if the little camera would capture a clear image of a plane coming into Lindberg Field for landing… and while I was down there in that end of the park to see if the little camera could get the details of downtown buildings without blurring… and to check how the limited telephoto range manages the towers of the Museum of Man from half-a-mile away… and the entrance to the park on the Sixth Avenue side of Laurel Street Bridge… and then the best photographic subject of the day was Elizabeth Brewart relaxed in her Grandpa Ed’s big red chair.
