Could anything be more alive and vibrant
than the old scrub oak at the end of the trail
where I walked for awhile this afternoon?


or the flowering pear tree on the hill where I live?

The pear is early in bloom. the weather must be fooling it. We are in Monterey I have mever seen the ground so dry. This will cost us at the grocery store..

Thanks for the photos. Thought of you as we were driving through Salinas. came thru Pasa Robles.At an old adobe the blue door wS so tiny.What a photo!!
