If the five-person group calling itself Walk Off the Earth can get together to play one guitar, Congress should be able to get itself together and play the tune (all together) that the American people need to hear.  The Republican Party lost the presidential election.  It’s time for Congressional Republicans to get over it. The super rich can take care of themselves.  They don’t actually need the gift which conservative lawmakers want to give them, and those among them with integrity and a sense of patriotism son’t want the gift, especially if the gift to them causes problem for some of the 97 or 98 percent of American tax-paying citizens.  Listen carefully to the lyrics of Walk Off the Earth’s “Somebody I Used to Know.”  If the Republican Party doesn’t get off the wrong side of the fiscal cliff issue, it will be a political entity that Americans will remember as a party we used to know but no longer exists.  It’s the party that is going over the cliff.

My photographs today were taken in my neighborhood with my iPhone. The one above is the San Diego River taken with a fisheye lens attached to the iPhone. The others are pictures of the road that runs through our community.
