You know how when we were children we could look at clouds and see all kinds of fantastic things. I’m still doing it, but now it’s more trees than clouds. Until a few weeks ago I hadn’t bothered to notice that absolutely every tree in the world is different from every other tree... and the bark is like fingerprints on people, only far more interesting. The two BARK images today are from the parking lot at the Mission Valley Library next to the Fenton Parkway Trolley Station.

Stay tuned for information about the BARK Project. While you’re waiting think about this: Different is good. It’s nature’s way. There are no two trees in the world exactly alike... no two mountains... no two rivers... no two people. Celebrate difference. Be glad.
